Okay,
So over the past few months the fursuit tournament has been flashing by my eyes every time I checked livejournal. I stopped to actually read it this time, noticing it was down to the final 4. I also noticed that out of those final 4, only one of them really deserved to win the blasted thing. His name is Yippie Coyote.
I mean.. this dude IS fursuiting. I can remember my first time seeing him in suit.. it was nothing short of amazing. He also let me wear one of his suits at AC last year- knowing how badly I wanted one.
No one puts there heart and soul into fursuiting like Yippie does.. he's pure gold. I've seen the competitors in action and none compare to this guy. I have a suit! I can walk around, wave, pose for pictures- just like them. What I can't do is perform like Yippie can. Why? Well because I haven't been suiting for years and years.
If he doesn't win this it proves this tourney is bullshit like I initially believed. It'll bring my views of this community and it's people even further down.
He's an inspiration to a lot of people, I know I look up to him. He deserves this guys: So please do the right thing and vote Yippie. He's earned it.

Gee it didn't hit me that I wouldn't be at AC this year until i dropped a couple friends off at the airport this morning..
LOL a whole year of badmouthing how much of a hassle it was last year and NOW I MISS IT.
Grrr, I swear my parents pick the worst times to come down to visit.. I should just say I have school things to tend too and buzz down to Pittsburgh ;)
ahhh well.. have fun guys!! Don't do anything I wouldn't do.
I guess there's Megaplex to look forward too :)

Okay, so I really want to edit some video of past events.. and will probably want to edit more movies in the future no doubt. Only problem is the past few days I've been wrestling with windows movie maker, which is just CRAP.
What would you suggest for other programs? I just want something nice and simple and clean that gets the job done without freezing or slowing down my computer to uselessness..

Lol, I've read a couple journals on FA of furs here in Florida trying to go surfing.
If you DO surf... you'd know that Florida is dead right now! and has been for a looooong loooong time, with the exception of 2 days a couple week ago.
Seriously, I havn't met a surfer yet that doesn't watch the reports like a pedophile watches a daycare. Surfline.com with the central Florida forecast is my homepage for christ sake.

So I'm pretty much all settled into the Clermont house :D Now to grab myself a job down here.. It's been a while since I walked out of Firestone (lol assholes). I've had an under the table job thing going on with my professor and a project he's working on (which i cant really talks about)for quite some time now - but I should grab another standard job because A. I'm going to go insane and B. I have the time so why not :P
Gonna try some of the car care businesses around here and other assorted places- nothin' too fancy.
and for fuck sakes school starts up again in less than 3 months :P

I am officially moved to Clermont, Florida!!
Wow, I already feel refreshed and so-SO much happier! No offense to anybody in the Orlando area bbuttt.. the place just sucked and got me sooo down- I really was just unmotivated and didn't care about anything, which isn't good.
But now! I feel good :) ready to grab me a job, join the gym, and just pretty much get of my ASS and back with it all. Plus I'm a lot closer to all my favorite friends :D Maybe I'll go surfing to celebrate ;)

As for cons? AC is still really really high up in the air.. being over 4th of july weekend is the dumbest idea ever- PLUS my parents are coming down the 3rd.

LOL, what is with people that HATE furries? Like I can understand being uncomfortable with what we do or disagreeing with our interests. But what really compels people to actually try to mock us?

Yah so I almost died yesterday.
I was coming home from Marathon Key (5 hour drive) and I'm just cruising at 70mph, passing an 18 wheeler on the left. When out of no where a giant Lexus gets right on my ass. Now don't get me wrong- if I'm going slower then someone by all means I'll get out of the way as soon as I can, but THIS asshole decided to flash his lights at me.
Like... I went to driving school, like so many of you, and never did I study that flashing your high beams would magically make people pull over for you. I was along side a fucking 18 wheeler with my cruise control on, it was a matter of seconds before I could move out of the way- wasn't much I could do until then!
But no, this wasn't enough for this guy. He gets as close to my bumper as possible flashing his lights and NOW laying on his horn.
Now obviously that got me pissed. (no wonder my characters bright red)
So I slammed the brakes :3
I slammed the brakes and held my windshield washer sprayers for a good 30 seconds, absolutely soaking his precious lexus. The guy slowed down and went to go around the other side of the truck but I took off and beat him to the other side and blocked him off again.
By this time he was reaaaaaaaaaal pissed.
-The truck pulled off at a rest stop and I took off, he caught up to me because obviously his car was twice as fast, rolled his window down and we yelled at each other for 20 seconds are so he said "i'm gonna shoot your fucking head off" and I shot back "I'm gonna shove that steering column up ur ass" He then took off in front of me and tried to brake check me but I darted around him. The guy followed me for a good 8 miles mimicking my every move. I tried to loose him a bunch of times but my cars limit is 120mph- which is child's play for his v8 lexus.
I then got an idea.. since the guy was directly on my ass and following my every move I went to take the next off ramp, put my directional on and everything. He took the bait and followed me... so at the final moment I swerved back onto the highway, but his reaction time was too slow and he got caught on the off ramp. I then hauled ass to the nearby rest stop to lay low for a bit in case any cops where looking for me.
I got a drink and some chips and went on my way again.
and no more the 3 miles down the road there he was... pulled over by 3 state troopers XD Probably desperately trying to catch me after getting back onto the highway.
I made sure to give him a few honks as I sped by.

Seriously... People say the fandom is too open, and they're right. A lot of people use it to express they're fantasies, non of which have ANYTHING!! to do with anthropomorphic animals what so ever.
Like seriously, at FC this year I got yelled at by so many trannies I began to wonder if I was at the wrong convention. I mean it makes you wonder are you actually a furry? Or are you just looking for a mass of people to except you- so you can run around with fake tits in public.
Same deal with FA... it's bad enough you have people who don't draw at all and not even make an effort to try- they're just there to comment on ur work like they know what they're talking about- or just to leave a "murrr" or "sexy!" Or to post endless amounts of pictures of their fursuit :P I respect the individuals who can barley draw a stick figure over them any day.
why? well because at least they're trying.
lol it's like... OMG these people wear animal costumes.
they probably wont care if I i wear full rubber bondage gear.

SO real quick..
Went out to my car today to find it totally and completely DEAD. First thing that came to my mind was "welp, I guess the battery is shot from the dead alternator."
But I guess my dome light was one all night and killed the battery.
One of my roommates gave me a quick jump and she was back to normal. The battery light issue seemed to have pass, it hadn't come on alll day. Awesome.. but still kinda a meh start to the day.
So if that scare wasn't enough, I get pulled over after dropping a friend off for going 38 in a 25. Utter bullshit.. stupid ass cops. Never there when you need them, always when you don't.
Whatever *rolls eyes* no way of really getting out of the $151 fine.
But just as I'm sitting in front of my computer like a bump on a log. Jannali surprises me with this:

So I never updated this journal after FWA- but I just have to say that it was AWESOME!! Didn't really do too much other than running around in suit. You seriously couldn't get me out of the thing :P Having a suit of your character is waaaaayy too much fun.

Ugh, I've just been itching for some kind of event I can wear it at XD Was going to go out on Easter but it was way to hot for everybody, probably for myself as well.
But yer, moving on.
Just been busy with school and stuff which is ending SOON (thank god) and then I can grab myself a job. With the way the car has been acting up lately- I'll need one ;) I was driving to dinner the other night and my battery light kept coming on every time I exceeded 4,000rpm.- a friend of mine suggested the alternator was dying (oh god please no)- but I'm hoping it just got wet. Being a german car the alternator is on the bottom of the engine, near the ground. I'm hoping it just got wet from the car wash earlier that day. but probably not... FINGERS CROSSED.
As for cons.. I'll be going to Elliot's spring gathering orgy thing next. I doubt I'll go to AC, it really never turns out to be that fun for me. BUT, Megaplex for sure (yay local cons). Also no FA:U this year, I guess, so there goes that.. IIII think a large gap is good actually. Plenty of small junk going on between now and Further Confusion (which is always a given). MFF issssss still up in the air though. That new hotel sucked REALLY bad lol.
but yup! not much going on as of now! just general life stuffs and hanging with good friends :)

Well it's That time of year again.
Furry Weekend Atlanta.
I remember last year being perfect! I drove down from Lake Mary (7 hours?) and was happy to discover the hotel was in a nice cozy corner next to the airport with a nice parking garage to keep my car in.. it really was a pleasant experience. (even though people complain about the expensive restaurants..but who cares)
But as a wise man always says "every good thing doesn't last".
Too true.
Since they dumped the con in the middle of fucking downtown Atlanta. and force anyone who comes by car to park in a shady garage 2 blocks away from the hotel.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. sounds like a safe walk if you wanna take ur car out after dark huh?
I havn't had a good muggin and rape in a loooong time.
Lotta friends aren't really that pumped for the whole ordeal.. it certainly does really seem like a hassle.
but I'll be 100% honest with everyone.. if I wasn't so excited about running around in the new Trigger suit.. I probably would of said fuck this con ;) seriously.
Sooooo, to sum this all up.. I'll be there. You will either find me wandering around drunk.. in the Trig...(a combination of both) orrr in the dealers- sellin my crap.
meh, who am I kidding.. along as I'm in the company of my close friends, and ones I really don't see that often- I'll come out of this con with a smile on my face :)

I guess since I have a respectable watch list on this thing now, it would be only right of me to update it..
update yessss update lets see...
Well.. it's 3:15am at the current moment, here I am again not in bed lol.
I have way too much on my mind. I'm always torn between one decision and another- both battling it out in my head all day long.
As much as I hate to admit it- this fandom has altered my life. There's no one too blame but myself.. I let it.
And to tell you the truth I cant really add up the pros and cons to really tally up a score on whether that's a good thing or not?
I just get the feeling I lit fire to everything I loved just to dance around in an animal costume. I totally got blind sided... i got sucked into this fandom because of my interests, dug myself a deep hole, and now everyday I get more and more and more disgusted.
You step back... and you just think... wow I'm a fucking part of this mess. why? why am i?
I used to party every weekend.. go out with my friends... date very attractive girls... play for a highly respected hockey team- I'm not bragging, that's how shit was- but now I'm reduced to this..? Why the fuck would I do such a thing?
I'm not a victim by any means.. this was my own self destruction.
I'm growing tired.. I feel I'll keep becoming more and more disgusted with this stuff until i become bitter.
Seriously.. I love the suiting to death and the art even more. but SEX has driven the furry fandom bus right off a cliff. I understand that it can be a part of it... BUT DOES IT HAVE TO BE ALL OF IT?
It seriously could be worse, I have 3 people to thank that it's not: Moon, Val, and Adam. I fear to even wonder where the hell i would be without them. Oh and to everyone who makes rumors or comments about us.. please PLEASE keep them coming! You have no idea how many laughs we've had over you morons. :)
I really dont mean to insult anyone or bash the fandom. I just really need to tone it down..get back on a track that makes me happy... finish school.. get a job.. get a girl.. live happy and move on.
and if I have time to squeeze some cons in? Hell yah I'll do it.
